BEACH DAY

SEPTEMBER 10 2021

after getting home super late last night, i had to wake up early to go to the beach today. i was so dead inside but i managed to get dressed and be out the door on time. we took a tram to the beach area and i met up with my friend, eli (from night one). she's really cool and we both happen to be in long distance relationships; so it's nice having someone to talk to about that. i hung out with her and a few other girls at the beach. the water was pretty cold in my opinion, but i did get in completely. afterwards, eli wanted to get a tram card so we went around cabanayl (an area in valencia) with her roommate, victoria, looking for open stores. because of siesta, everything was closed except this little cafe called "cannes". the cafe was so cute; it was the perfect place to eat, hangout with friends or study. if it was closer, i'd be there all the time.

i came home exhausted and made myself soup from the packets my mom sent me with. immediately after, i passed out on the spot (as seen below).

since it was our first friday night, we had to go out, but we were extremely tired from the long week. daniela, katiana and i decided to eat at a pizza restaurant and drink wine. the resturant is located on "carrer de sant vicent martir", i can't remmeber the exact name though. this really old italian man attempted to talk to us so we left as soon as possible to a gelato place near la plaza de la virgen. afterwards we hung out in the apartment until we went to sleep.
